Traction belt with chain

The traction belt is used for performing skeletal traction on distal limb segments, i.e. radius-ulna and tibia. The combination of its two components makes it possible to firmly hold the limb which should undergo traction. Once applied, it can be connected to the traction bar via the chain. It is advisable to position a dynamometer between the chain and the traction bar so as to measure the traction force.
